Refund Policy

At JD Media Company, we strive to provide high-quality services to our clients. If you are dissatisfied with the services provided, please review our refund policy below.

No Refunds

Due to the nature of creative and strategic services, all payments are final. This applies to:

  • Upfront deposits
  • Final balances
  • Monthly retainers

Goodwill Adjustments

We may fulfill small requests beyond the contract as a gesture of goodwill, but these are not guaranteed and are done at our discretion.

Out-of-Scope Work

If you request services beyond what’s outlined in the contract:

  • We will either provide a new quote
  • Or include it under your monthly plan if one exists

Disputes

Any service concerns must be submitted in writing within 14 days of final delivery. We’ll work with you in good faith to resolve the issue.

Terms and Conditions

Effective date: December 4th, 2024

1. Engagement

All services require a signed contract that outlines:

  • Project scope
  • Timelines and deliverables
  • Payment structure
  • Revision limits

2. Payment Terms

  • 50% deposit required before work begins
  • 50% balance due at final delivery
  • All payments are non-refundable
  • Late payments may delay final delivery

3. Revisions

Revisions are limited to those outlined in the original contract. Additional work:

  • Requires a new quote, or
  • Must be covered under a monthly service agreement

4. Monthly Support

Ongoing work or extra requests fall under your active monthly plan (if applicable).

5. Ownership

Once full payment is made:

  • You own the rights to final deliverables
  • JD Media retains rights to any tools, templates, or licensed assets used

6. Confidentiality

We keep your project and brand info private. You agree to do the same with our methods, templates, and proprietary content.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a project in writing. Payment is still due for all work completed up to that point.

9. Governing Law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, specifically applicable to businesses operating out of Knoxville.
